The skies poured love

Cassi and Travis tied the knot this past Saturday at the pergola in the gorgeous Duke Gardens.  The ceremony was customized to their love story, and I'm sure it was archived into the hearts of all the guests. The reception took place at The Little Dipper. A super cool, flirty and fun atmosphere enveloped the night with warm hues and delicious aromas. The night was a one of a kind party, and I am so glad to have been a small part of it. Thanks you guys!  

On a side note: This is the wedding that technically challenged me greater than any other photography gig to date. The ceremony took place outdoors under a flat evening sky...and, it was raining. The reception was absolutely lovely, but due to the laws of light, it was a bit of a struggle to retain natural skin tones, not to mention providing my sensor with enough light to properly expose! But, I have to say, my brain strings that were being pulled in every direction yielded a new creativity in these photos, and I am stoked to have worked with these amazing vendors, family and friends.
