Christine and Brian planned their wedding ceremony to be held on the notorious emerald lawn at The Umstead Hotel in Cary, North Carolina. As soon as we stepped foot on those blades of grass, the skies opened. You may expect a disappointed couple, but with an easy-going smile, Mr. and Mrs. Wasserman happily opted for an intimate, white-draped setting adorned with a hundred-crystal chandelier. It was wonderful. This off-beat, laid back Jewish wedding uniting two Duke physicians included the signing of the Ketubah, surprise cuff-links for groom with date and coordinates of the wedding, royal blue heels, and hunter green and metallic accents. The bride and groom would like to recognize the maid of honor, Jennifer, and bridesmaid, Becky, as well as their best man, Mat, and groomsman, Bill, and Ring Bearers, Ben and Joe, for traveling to spend the day to celebrate with them. They would also like to specifically recognize the grandparents of the bride for traveling from California to be present. Ceremony & Reception & Catering: The Umstead Hotel and Spa Coordinator: Lindsay Merhege at A Southern Soiree Officiant: Matt Schu (friend of the bride and groom) Florist: Rachael at Tre Bella Floral Cake: Publix DJ: Larry Martin at A&A DJ Hair & Makeup: The Makeup Addict Dress: Lana Addison Congratulations!
