If I Were a Carpenter

Happy fall y'all!! I know that this post is beginning with three dress pictures, but this is the second wedding in a row with incredible skies all the way through sunset, so I can't help but post a ton. Fantastic skies are my fave!! Abby and Clay were married at Homewood in Asheville, N.C. in late September. It was really extraordinary meeting this sweet couple in their resident town of Morganton while my husband and I happened to be there attending an event for our alma mater, NCSSM. Abby and I talked about capturing meaningful shots from her bridal shoot at her parent's house to all the details of their wedding day including her grandmother's cameo ring, her blue handkerchief and her mother's wedding veil. All in all, Abby told me that she wanted timeless photos and I figure that Clay just wanted Abby :) What a wonderful day celebrating a special love!
