The past two months have been nothing short of, well, extremely busy for FireRose. And, I am so thankful for that!
Amongst all the photoshoots, I have gotten behind on the bartending posts. Well, here I am bound and determined to catch up! Have you ever shopped at Madewell? Holy smokes, I could buy everything in that store! I was honored to bartend for the second time at their first anniversary at Crabtree Mall handing out champagne and Big Boss to loyal customers (how cool is that?!). It's definitely worth checking out the quality-made merchandise and super friendly staff at Madewell Crabtree! Happiest Birthday to Mrs. Wasdell! I had such a blast at this 30th birthday party at the beginning of May! The venue was tucked away in a quaint and serene spot in Apex complete with cornhole, UNC grads and CHICKENS (which I was so excited about since we had just gotten ours a couple weeks prior). Not only was everyone so very kind, they were HAPPY and came to CELEBRATE. Isn't that what a party is all about? Cheers to wonderful, fun people! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gerner! Their mid-May wedding was celebrated at Starlight Meadow in Burlington, N.C. If my husband and I renew our vows, this rustic-chic venue will definitely be on our list! FireRose kept busy slinging mojitos and margaritas--that's the way we like it! The picture perfect weather, turned to a cool rain as evening fell, but that didn't get anyone down! The celebrating, toasting and dancing lasted long into the night! Many years of bliss to this beautiful couple! Have you ever showed up at someone's home and been like, "Wow. So this is what my dream home looks like?" Barbara threw a spectacular party at her home for her family that had traveled to town for her son's wedding. I'm glad the custom drinks involved a lot of muddling giving me time to look around and take notes for my future home ;) Fresh squeezed sour for your margaritas, fresh-squeezed grapefruit for your greyhounds and ice cold beer, and FireRose had everyone maxin'-relaxin' and recovering from the wedding the night before! What an awesome way to spend your Saturday! When Rachelle contacted me at the end of last year to bartend, I was excited to be a part of her Historic Howard House reception in Dunn, N.C. The D.J. rocked the house, and I couldn't help but "wobbling" as I poured red wine and popped Angry Orchards (That takes practice!!!)! Many thanks to Dana and Rachelle for making us feel like a part of the family. Best wishes to the newlyweds! CONGRATULATIONS to Terry and Ashley. I'm sure they don't want to see this post about bartending because they are so looking forward to their wedding pictures! However, FireRose set up another successful bar creating a seamless beverage service for the couple's wedding guests. I really love these two, but all of that will come out in the photography post! Also, if you're looking for a cool spot with lush green backdrops for your wedding day, check out The Aqueduct. Thanks to all who had their drinks slang by FireRose!
