Ashley & Terry's Wedding

When Ashley got in touch with me to bartend her wedding, I was happy enough to have the gig! But, then she expressed interest in FireRose being the photographer, and I was ecstatic! Completely gaga for the couple from the get-go, I found out that Ashley had raised chickens for the better part of her life (I had just received word on the arrival of my new flock!) and Terry was Filipino (my husband's ethnicity) at our initial meeting. I bet I asked more questions about poultry and adobo, than she did about bartending and photography :D

Nonetheless, I am so happy that I got to know Terry, Ashley and her sweet daughter over the past couple months. It's amazing how personal photography is and what sort of impact photographing one of the most emotional days in a couple's life can have on my own!
